Terry David Drew is a self taught photographer and videographer with a successful career that has continued over two decades. Terry’s passion for photography began in a homemade darkroom in his parents’ basement where he processed his first black and white film when he was just 10 years old. He turned his lifelong interest into a career while still in college when he opened his first studio specializing in portfolio shoots for aspiring models. Within two years he moved from his hometown of Detroit, to launch his career in fashion photography in Chicago. Terry quickly came into his own operating a busy commercial studio building a reputation for his mastery of lighting as well as his ability to identify and enhance his subjects’ best form, whether in the studio or on location. Terry’s versatility has extended into the realm of film and music videos. His credits include the documentary “New Moms” exploring the world of underprivileged young mothers and LA based film “Wish” which won the best feature award at the “Dances with Films” film festival held in California.
